It was good to reconnect with people we knew and to make new connections. We got high quality feedback on how best to customize information for each community while still benefiting from standardization and scale. We also got positive comments on our sharing session on Scaling Human Expertise using AI Safely for Public Health Communication (slides coming soon). We also got good insights on our NWS alerts integration, the public dashboard, community-level customization and newer CDC alert for respiratory illness activity.
We were joined by some of our academic partners from the University of Arizona - Noriko Tamari (Infectious Disease Epidemiologist | Clinical Research & Global Health | PhD Candidate at University of Arizona), Joy Luzingu (Infectious Disease Epidemiologist | Clinical Research & Global Health | PhD Candidate at University of Arizona) - as well our summer interns from Norway who were spending the summer at University of California, Berkeley (Finn Griggs, Anna Hauge, Srishti Mishra, Ulrik Jensen).
