Covid Watch began as a volunteer organization that built an exposure notification technology to reduce the spread of Covid while maintaining complete digital privacy and respecting your civil rights. The Co-Founders are dedicated to guiding the team to fulfill the founding mission.

Tina is a PhD candidate at Stanford University where she develops neural network architectures for scientific simulations. She has ten years of experience in engineering and computational science research. Covid Watch began with a post she made in the early days of the pandemic.

Zsombor is a mobile app developer with more than ten years of experience building next-generation networks, notably an app called Berkanan Messenger, that runs on Bluetooth mesh networks.

James is a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo where he focuses on numerical modelling, machine learning, and optimization.

Sameer is a product-focused entrepreneur. He was formerly co-founder of Jirav, a financial forecasting platform for SMBs. He also co-founded SunFunder, a social impact company. He’s held Product leadership roles at many technology companies including Microsoft and Limeade.
